From time to time we are asked, “What is up with the name JuanTheBuilder & Associates?” Or “how did you guys come up with that name?”

The history behind the name started many years ago, long before the “Corporation”. As legend has it, Juan D. Rosas while working in a construction crew differentiated himself from the other Juan's in that crew because of his building talents. See, the other Juan's on that crew were either a plumber or a roofer. One day the Project Manager in order to get the attention of the right Juan, called for Juan, “the builder one”. From that point it was Juan the builder this and Juan the builder that.

After arriving home one day and sharing the story with the family, the pseudonym JuanTheBuilder stuck. Soon thereafter a modest business was started and without hesitation JuanTheBuilder was the name.

The licensing and project acquisition ensued. Our first customers expressed their delight with our work and effort; they appreciated the communication and attention to detail. Repeat business became our standard. These customers referred us to their friends and families. This demand evolved and a team was formed. These team members are the Associates, the real heroes of the “Corporation”, it is their effort combined with commitment that has made JuanTheBuilder & Associates, Inc. the best choice for all of your construction needs.

We know there are many Juan's out there, some are even builders; but to ensure we are the real and original “JuanTheBuilder”, the name was trademarked worldwide with The United States Patent and Trademark Office, as it was the case for the full corporate name “JuanTheBuilder & Associates” and the distinctive Red House logo.
